Boiler Services in Aurora, CO

Repair, maintenance, and installation for hot-water and steam boilers — the heating system most companies quietly avoid. Free repair estimates. Diagnostic [TBD] · quoted up front.

The overlooked specialty

Boilers are excellent heat. They just need someone who actually works on them.

Plenty of Denver-area homes — especially older ones east and north of the city — still run hot-water or steam boilers. The heat is even, quiet, and comfortable. The problem: most HVAC companies would rather sell you a furnace conversion than learn your boiler. We're the other kind of company.

Boiler repair

No heat, no hot water, strange kettling sounds, pressure problems, leaking relief valves. "Can you come and give me an estimate for repairing my boiler" — yes, and the estimate is free.

Annual boiler maintenance

Burner service, water-side checks, pressure and expansion-tank verification, safety controls tested. Boilers that get yearly service outlive neglected ones by a wide margin.

Boiler replacement

When the old cast-iron unit is done: properly sized modern boiler, itemized quote, permits pulled. We'll also quote the forced-air conversion so you can compare honestly.

What's included

The boiler service visit

  • Full system diagnosis — burner, ignition, aquastat/high-limit, circulator pumps, zone valves, expansion tank.
  • Water-side checks — system pressure, feed valve, air elimination, relief valve test. Air-locked radiators are a top "no heat" cause.
  • Combustion & venting — CO check, draft verification, flue condition. Non-negotiable on every visit.
  • Leak inspection — boiler sections, piping, valves, and near-boiler piping. Small leaks become big ones.
  • Controls verification — thermostat, aquastat, and zone controls confirmed calling and satisfying properly.
  • Written estimate before work — free for the diagnosis-to-quote step; repair priced part + labor + total for your approval.

A huge share of "boiler no heat" calls are controls, air, or pressure — not a dead boiler. Diagnosis first, always.

The conversion question

Keep the boiler or convert to forced air?

Every boiler owner eventually hears the pitch: "rip it out, put in a furnace." Sometimes that's right. Often it's a $15k solution to a $900 problem. Here's how we think about it:

Keep the boiler when…

The heat exchanger/cast-iron sections are sound, the repair is a component (pump, valve, control), and you like the comfort. Boiler heat is even and quiet — many owners prefer it once it's running right.

Replace the boiler when…

Sections are cracked or leaking, parts are obsolete, or efficiency is costing you real money every winter. A modern boiler keeps the comfort and cuts the fuel bill.

Convert to forced air when…

You want central AC too (ducts serve both), the boiler is done and the piping is failing, or a remodel makes hydronic impractical. We'll quote the conversion with real numbers — it's a big job and deserves honest math.

We'll put all three options on the table with prices. That's the whole point of a free estimate.

Boiler FAQs

Straight answers

Can you give me an estimate for repairing my boiler?

Yes — that's a normal call for us, and the estimate is free. We'll come out, diagnose the actual fault, and give you the repair price in writing before any work starts. If replacement or conversion makes more sense, you'll get those numbers too.

My boiler has no heat (or no hot water). What could it be?

The usual suspects: failed circulator pump, air locked in the system, low water pressure, a bad aquastat or zone valve, or an ignition failure. Most are diagnosable in one visit and many are same-visit repairs. Check your pressure gauge first — if it's near zero, don't keep resetting things; call us.

Should I convert my boiler to a forced-air furnace?

Get both numbers before deciding. Conversion is a big, disruptive, expensive job — it's worth it when you also want central AC or the hydronic system is truly done, but it's overkill for a repairable boiler. We'll quote repair, boiler replacement, and conversion, and walk you through the trade-offs honestly.

How much does boiler service cost?

See the ranges in the table above. Annual maintenance is the cheapest boiler insurance there is; common component repairs (pumps, zone valves, controls) are priced in writing before approval. Big-ticket replacements get a free itemized assessment.
